In 2023, the Houston Turkey Trot was discontinued, leaving a void in our community's holiday events. We are pleased to announce Houston's new Thanksgiving Day Run - the TurkeyDay5k! So get ready to lace up your running shoes and join us for the most festive event of the season: the Houston Turkey Day 5K Fun Run! This Thanksgiving morning, let's come together as a community to give thanks, get active, and support a great cause - CoolxDad! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for some family-friendly fun, this event is for you! We invite runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to join us on Thanksgiving morning just north of Downtown Houston.
Our event proudly supports CoolxDad, an amazing nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering fathers and father figures. Proceeds from this event will go towards CoolxDad's mission of providing essential resources, mentorship, and guidance to dads, helping them be their best role models.
