Run Caney

Run Caney invites participants to enjoy a trail run around Upper Caney Lake in Kisatchie National Forest, Louisiana. The scenic course is described as neither too hilly nor too rocky, ideal for those new to trail running. Set in a picturesque location, the race emphasizes an "Old School Style" experience. Participants must pay a park entry fee, though car-pooling is encouraged to minimize costs. Awards are given to overall and age group winners. There will be a running clock at the finish, and finishers will log their own times. Participants camping overnight at Beaver Dam Campsite are exempt from park fees.
