Prowl for a Purpose 5k

The annual Wildcat Prowl for a Purpose has returned! This family and pet friendly race is sponsored by the Springfield High School National Honor Society and offers a 5k run as well as a 1 mile walk that finishes on the high school track.  The race brings a lively atmosphere for a good cause!  Proceeds will be donated to the Warder Literacy Center.     The Warder Literacy Center helps people achieve their literacy goals.  Founded in 1988, the literacy program was developed with the belief that the high rate of adult illiteracy in Clark County would lower if people struggling with reading and writing received the extra help they needed. This center plays a crucial role in enhancing literacy among individuals of all ages. The Warder Literacy Center seeks to empower people with the skills necessary for personal growth, employment opportunities, and being an active member of the Springfield community.

 

The race starts at 9am and race day registration and check-in is from 8:00-8:45am.   Register by April 15 to guarantee a race t-shirt.    Ages 0-3 are free with no shirt and ages 4-18 are $15 with a shirt.  These discounted prices will be applied at checkout based on the birthday entered during registration.
