Heroes for Hope 5K & Kids Fun Run

**Save the Date for May 4, 2024**

At the Hope Network Foundation, what might look like the ordinary actions of everyday people, are actually heroes to the clients who rely on the Hope Network's mental health services. On May 7th, we are asking the community to join the Hope Network Foundation and Celebration Cinema to flood the streets of downtown Grand Rapids for the Heroes of Hope 5K & Community Walk, which will raise support & awareness for mental health programming, turning the community into HEROES! 

All 5K participants will receive a shirt & medal.

To help flood the streets with mental health heroes, the Community Walk will be free and approximately a mile in distance.

Our youngest superheroes participating in the Youth Events will also receive a free entry, along with a cape. The Youth Events will feature .25, .5, and a Mile distance and will take place with the Community Walk.

We also have volunteer opportunities on race day!

Results: The results page will be LIVE as the 5Kers cross the finish line (the 1 Mile & Kids Run are not chipped timed). This link will also show participant bib numbers. 

Course: Our course will take you through the streets of downtown Grand Rapids. Our 5Kers will be doing the route 3 times, mile walkers will be doing an out & back, and we will have various distances for the kids!

Bib Pickup & Day of Registration: You can start picking up your bibs on Sunday morning (May 7th) at Celebration Cinema's Studio Park (123 Ionia SW Grand Rapids MI 49503) at 7am. Registration will be available through 8am. All registration will be done through RunSignUp (this website), so simply register and come down to pick up your bib.

Parking: The City of Grand Rapids has ample parking downtown on a Sunday morning. We recommend using their interactive parking map before you come. Area 3 Lot, Area 6A Lot would be good options, but might charge a fee. There is plenty of free street parking as well, but please pay attention to any posted signs. 

Come for Run, Stay for the Show. Celebration Cinema will be having a special 10:15am public showtime of Guardians Of The Galaxy, with the doors opening to the theatre around 9:45am to purchase tickets.

Prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the overall male & female finishers, best dressed super hero, and best dressed group. 

Other Good Info. Dogs, rollerblades, skateboards, and bikes are not allowed. Strollers ARE allowed and you ONLY need to register the passenger of the stroller if you would like them to have a shirt.
