The event begins near The Retreat at Bradley's Pond, along Centerville Road, north of Capital Circle NE. Participants will traverse a course mainly composed of hard-packed red clay roads through scenic plantation lands, with the initial and final stretches on paved surfaces. The courses hold USATF certification. The event enforces a four-hour cutoff time, ensuring that participants are challenged to maintain a steady pace throughout their endurance endeavor.
