Go Forward Team Ride

  We invite you to come join us:  The 5th Annual Go Forward Together Ride to benefit the Forward Foundation is Saturday, October 5.

Join us for the end-of-cycling-season finale that embraces all aspects of cycling culture, bringing area cyclists together to assist the organization that assists single parents in Central Virginia.   The 50-mile or 30-Mile ride will start and finish at Final Gravity Brewing Co., located at 6118 Lakeside Avenue in Richmond.  The route will take cyclists from Lakeside, through the beautiful Ashland, Virginia-area countryside with a rest stop in downtown Ashland.   NEW!  30 Mile Route Option now available!!!   Not participating in the ride? No problem!  The post-ride event has become as much fun as the ride itself with live music, food trucks, vendors, games, giveaways and more.     Final Gravity Brewing in Lakeside is the area’s most bike-friendly brewery and is the official site of two organized rides every Sunday.  Once again, they will be brewing the official beer of the Go Forward Together Ride - the Go Forward Pilsner - with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Forward Foundation.  And for those moved by the spirit of community engagement but not partaking in spirits, non-alcoholic options are available at this family-friendly event.     Click to view: 50 MILE RIDE

  Start/Finish Line located at: Final Gravity Brewing Co.  - 6118 Lakeside Ave Richmond, VA 23228   Rest Stop (approx. Mile 15) located at: Town Hall Park in Ashland - 121 Thompson St, Ashland, VA 23005    Box lunch provided by: Palani Drive box lunches for the first 100 adult registrations.  **You may also opt out of lunch, and have a 100% of your registration fee go towards the foundation.   Afterparty: Relax and mingle after the ride with our fabulous Mix 98.1 ambassador, Rebecca Wilde from the Wicker & Wilde Morning Show.
