About the event

This is central Oklahoma's newest, biggest, craziest gravel event.  Brought to you by the folks who bring you the Oklahoma Gravel Growler.  We created this for everyone (including us) who have gotten tired of not getting in events that have lotteries (personally, I am 0 for 9).  No lottery, no cap, no nothing ... sign up and go crazy!!!!!!

Are you tired of the new trend in gravel ... bigger, flashier, lotteries, corporate sterile events that cost $1 or more a mile?  This is the answer.  A throwback event to the early days of gravel events.  To start, $0.10 a mile (okay not really but we are charging $30).  Three course distances to choose from (70, 140, 210 miles).

Okay, you spoke, we listened!  70 unsupported miles too much?  Want to come play but want something a little gentler?  We want this to be fun, inclusive and fun ... did we say fun???  So for those of you not sure you want to bite off 70 we have a secret ... there will be an oasis somewhere on the 70 miler.  At the oasis you can get the directions to Bills Bypass and knock about half off your day.  Or rest, reload supplies and carry on!  Just sign up for Bills Bypass and you will get access to the secret passage!!!!

For your money you get your entry for an insured event, a finishing time recorded by professional race timers, a bit of swag, something cool at the end and we will give you some food.  More importantly we will have a vendor area with a food truck and other things for you to do while you wait for the friends you just beat!!!!! Our amazing sponsors have ponied up the cash to provide you with a shirt!  Thank them, we did!.

NOTE:  If you want a shirt in your size, you MUST register before May 15.  After that there are no guarantees!  We need time to have them printed!

What you don't get ... lots of stuff.  If you want a hat, buy a hat.  If you don't want any of that?  You don't have to buy it!  In the theme of grand adventure/throwback we will not be marking most of the course.  We will not have an army of vehicles paroling the course to help you out.  This is a self-supported adventure.  We will supply nutrition, tools, etc at 70 and 140 miles to help you out.  We are not crazy, we will have a bailout line if you truly get in over your head ... call us, somebody will come and get you, be a lady/gentleman ... tip your driver, gas ain't cheap!  (Note: If day time temps are going to be over 85F we will have a water supply station on each loop for your safety!)  Okay, okay ... you spoke, mother nature spoke, we listened!  We will have a aid/resupply station on each loop ... last year was HOT and took its toll.  We want this to be fun as well as crazy so rest assured, you will be able to get water, nutrition, etc on each of the loops!

To make logistics easy, costs low and stoke high, this will be a clover-leaf course.  Every 70 mile loop will start and stop at spOKeLAHOMA in downtown Tecumseh.  When you finish a section, we will give you the next map/gps file for the next 70 miles.  We will help you with your bike.  You can resupply.  You can quit and eat and cheer others on.  All finishers can sit on the Iron Throne of gravel for their finishers pic.

Based on feedback from you we have added a couple of cool things for your fun.  First, while we are updating loop 3, loop 1 and 2 will remain essentially the same, year to year.  HOWEVER, we are going to rotate through all 3 loops from year to year to ensure that everyone gets a new course from year to year!  Second, late last year we added a prize to the 210 for the winner beating the day time for Unbound.  We are codifying that ... you win the 210, you beat the Unbound winners time (from the previous year) plus 30 minutes (our course is harder so we are giving you a 30 minute bonus) and we give you $1000.  Third, if you are doing "Bills Bypass" you will get a new loop year to year.  The goal being that you spend as much co-time on the Loop 1 as possible so you share the road with everyone!

If you did the early DK, first couple of LR's, then you know the drill ... if you accept aid on the course that is not available to everyone your day is done.  There might be a bootleg oasis out there.  We will have a time cut for each loop.  The gravel is awesome, the course is awesome, you will love it all!

So what are you waiting for? Sign up today!
