About the event
Indiana's Premier Gravel Race, the Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp, is back for its fourth year! After hosting a sold-out field of 800 riders from 29 different states, we've increased our capacity to 1,000 participants, giving even more athletes the chance to tackle this renowned event. The Dust Bowl 100 offers a challenging and scenic journey through the wide-open farm fields, century-old bridges, and wooded creek valleys of west-central Indiana, featuring some of the Midwest's finest gravel roads. Choose from three distances—100 miles, 80 miles, and 44 miles—whether you're aiming to compete fiercely or savor the adventure at your own pace. The 100-mile route includes 60 miles of gravel, 7 historic bridges, 2 off-road adventure sections, and 3,500 feet of elevation gain. The 80-mile option consists of 50 miles of gravel, 5 historic bridges, 2 off-road sections, and 2,500 feet of elevation gain. The 44-mile course offers 30 miles of gravel, 2 historic bridges, 1 off-road section, and a 1,300-foot elevation gain.
Rider benefits include chip timing with live splits, fully stocked SAG stops, a marked course, drop bag service, and a variety of swag like a softstyle short sleeve T-shirt, finisher awards, podium trophies, and more. Enjoy pre-race donuts and coffee, a post-race meal, a vendor expo with live entertainment, a SILCA bike wash station, and showers. Plus, free parking is available for participants.
The Dust Bowl 100 is not just about the race; it's about giving back. Support has been extended to community programs, including bicycle donations, student scholarships, funding for the Eminence Athletic Department, food pantry contributions, and more. We continue to offer discounted entry fees for juniors, making the event accessible to young athletes.
The registration process allows worry-free entry, with options to transfer, defer, or refund in case you can't participate. Don't miss the opportunity to join this epic adventure and immerse yourself in the vibrant community spirit of the Dust Bowl 100. Get ready to get dusty and challenge your limits!
