About the event
The Dallas Running Club (DRC) has been fostering the running community since its inception in 1969, founded by Tal Morrison. As a volunteer-run organization, the Club offers several races annually, with proceeds supporting the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund aimed at helping students involved in cross-country programs. DRC events, steeped in community spirit, promote health and fitness, with all participants encouraged to volunteer. The Frigid races take place at White Rock Lake, with prizes awarded to overall and age group winners. Joining these races provides an opportunity to start the new year with a vibrant community in a picturesque setting.
