Celebrate Kate 5k

The Celebrate Kate event is held at Nathan Bills in East Forest Park and includes activities for both runners and walkers. The day features a schedule with dedicated times for runner and walker starts, a ceremony, and a provided lunch. Proceeds from the event support scholarships for high school seniors in honor of Kathryn Mauke, and are also directed towards domestic violence awareness and related causes. The occasion includes a raffle with sales beginning in the morning and winners selected later in the day. This event commemorates a meaningful cause through community participation in outdoor physical activities.
