Zlatograd Bike n'Run

The second edition of Zlatograd Bike n'Run promises to be even more exciting and memorable! We have the arguments not to doubt this, because everything that the participants shared with us gave us even more strength, confidence and motivation to develop the event so that the competitors and guests of Zlatograd would count the days until our next meetings! Of course, like all rookies, we also had shortcomings, which we strongly hope we have managed to eliminate and offer you an experience that will make you come back to us again and again. And if the magical Rhodope mountains, the perfectly prepared routes, the rich checkpoints, the smiling volunteers and the accompanying events (especially for our little guests), are not enough for that, then our evening program and the guys from ZlatoRock will certainly make sure that you don't want this weekend to end!
And since it's getting a little emotional, let's move straight to the news for 2025:
🆕 Optimized duathlon distance – 35 km MTB + 14 km Trail Run – so that even the real machines – the duathlonists can enjoy the evening, and not fall asleep completely exhausted after the first beer 😊
🆕 Extended cycling routes – 35 and 60 km, because just one marathon in the Rhodope Mountains, for many people, is not enough 😊
🆕 Short cycling route 14 km – well, not everyone can cycle 30-60 km for breakfast, and for many participants this is an ideal opportunity to "feel the ground" and do their first official competition, albeit with a strongly pronounced "Hobby" character. Or maybe they just want to free up more time for Craft Beer Point beer 🍺 Hey CHEERS 🤣
🆕 E-Bike 60km – Yes, this year we will also accept "electric" bikes ⚡ after a few inquiries before our first edition.
🆕 Extended mountain running course 50 km 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ – so, if it’s going to be an ultra, it’s going to be an ultra… a baby ultra, but it’s still an ultra. And for those who find 50 km a lot, 24 and 14 km are still options, no less picturesque and enjoyable.
🆕 14 km Trail run 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️ – Almost completely renovated short mountain running course – After last year we took your breath away on the supposedly short and pleasant running course, this year we decided to change it up a bit. The favorite singletracks are still there, but we saved you some other trouble. ✌🏻
🆕 Two children’s cycling courses 👦🏻🚴🏻‍♀️👧🏻, 5.3 and 6.6 km, with different difficulty levels and a PRO label on the longer one for the little machines with more experience. 😁
🆕 Option to order 👕a cycling jersey with the official design of the event, in addition to the already familiar 👕T-shirt for some competitors.
