Join us for the Gumi Park Chung Hee Marathon, a nationwide event commemorating the 107th birth anniversary of former President Park Chung Hee, while gearing up for the upcoming 2025 Gumi Asian Athletics Championships. This exciting race will be held in March 2025 and invites runners from across the country to explore Gumi's unique blend of industry, culture, and natural beauty.

The marathon offers three categories to suit all levels: Half Marathon, 10km, and 5km. Starting from the iconic Gumi National Industrial Complex, the course takes participants through notable landmarks such as the Gumi Bridge, Dongrak Park, and the Nam Gumi Bridge, followed by a scenic route along the Nakdong River riverside road. The race concludes at the symbolic Export Tower, celebrating Gumi’s achievement of $10 billion in exports.

This distinctive route harmonizes the industrial charm of Gumi’s urban landscape with its serene natural surroundings. Runners will have the unique opportunity to experience the region’s rich heritage and vibrant industrial history, all while being immersed in the breathtaking views of Gumi’s landmarks.
