I wanted to take a moment to provide my feedback on the Istanbul Marathon that I participated in on November 3rd, specifically the 15km race. Overall, I truly enjoyed the experience. The route was well-organized, and I appreciated the support along the course, including water stations and volunteers. The atmosphere was amazing, and it was exciting to be part of such a well-attended event in such a beautiful city. However, I would like to mention an issue I encountered regarding the timing results. It appears that I was mistakenly listed as having participated in the 42km race, even though I was registered for the 15km. This has left me uncertain about my official finish time for the 15km race, and I would appreciate it if this could be corrected. Despite this issue, I thoroughly enjoyed the event and would certainly consider participating again in the future. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future participants, and I look forward to hearing about any updates regarding my timing. Thank you for organizing such a great event, and I appreciate your attention to this matter.

I was wildly scammed by a taxi offered at the place where race packets were distributed. It felt like organized crime—the taxi driver swapped my banknote in his hand, and I ended up losing 100 euros. It would be very helpful if the organisers could warn participants about these kinds of scams. The marathon started off fabulously, but after the 10 km mark, the course became a bit boring and monotonous.

This was my first official marathon event and it was really great! I was very satisfied with the way the marathon had been organized, including free transportation provided to reach the starting line (well done!!!). The only recommendation is to get some warm clothes during run as I felt a bit cold.

The route was not difficult (even it is rolling) with beautiful views on the Istanbul.

a disaster organization from the logistics point of view. a ferry full of athletes was in the river when the race started. I arrived the starting line 20 minutes late and had to overtake more than 10.000 people most of them where there only to take photos of the bridge. the volunteers were top

fine course, hilly at the start, 30 km flat and a terrific last mile. this year the wind was a mess

The first half was amazing. The second half was not that good, but the finish line was also great. I still don’t know where to get the official pictures from the event. I’m trying everyday

It was too hot, but an awesome race.

It was very well organised, throughout the route people were cheering us up. Water station were on right places and even wet sponges were provided. Upon the finish they provided us right items to hydrate and eat. Huge celebration was organised, different cutouts were placed for pictures. Public transport was free to reach the venue and even return journey.

I have been a smoker so couldn't run outside and during Covid i started running and quit smoking, now i am slowly training myself to run in marathons around the world. This March 2023 i did one run for 5K and August 2023 10K, thats why selected 15K for achievable target

Beautiful track, amazing views with a little challenge at the end. The Sultan Achmed passage on the last 3 km was steep and had 200 meters of altitude. Anyhow, Istanbul is a great city!

Sunny day, running on two continents was very cool. Unbeatable start on the Bosphorus Bridge!
