SWA Run AWAY 5K

Join the thrilling SWA Run AWAY 5K Trail Run at the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County Education Center, where athletes can experience the fusion of industry and nature while promoting awareness of recycling and solid waste issues. This unique race takes participants through scenic routes featuring cabbage palms, cypress hammocks, marshes, and pine flat woods, with stunning views of Grassy Waters Preserve and the Palm Beach Renewable Energy Park. In collaboration with the nonprofit Resource Depot, this event aims to inspire creativity, conservation, and community engagement through reuse. Compete in various categories, with awards for overall male and female winners, and age group categories ranging from 11-15 up to 70 and above. Participants aged 10 and under will receive a participation award.
