The Sea Rim Striders Run Club is an all-volunteer incorporated 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization that has been in existence since the 1970's!   We support, encourage, and promote running and walking at all levels to increase health and fitness awareness, as well as giving back to our community.
Everything we do throughout the year is free and open to the public except the Turkey Trot event, as it is our signature fundraiser event of the year. We work hard behind the scenes to bring you this awesome Annual race.  Join us as we host this holiday tradition, right here in Beaumont, Texas at The Event Centre on Thanksgiving Morning!

If the escorter has already signed up for 5K or 10K and is wearing their race bib, no extra escort/stroller waiver signup is necessary.  Just wear your 5K/10K bib.

Free Post-Race Food and Drink Our awesome Sponsors care about you, our Community, and what the Sea Rim Striders do.   Some of our Sponsors are highlighted at the Turkey Trot event in our post-race food/drink alley.  You'll find bottled water,  Gatorade/Sqwincher, Beer, Red Bull, Bananas, Pickles, granola bars, a Kid's-specific snack/drink table, and more --- Free!  
Be sure to stop by and thank them for supporting the Turkey Trot!     FREE RACE PHOTOS  We love to see photos of our Participants having a great time! All Photos will be posted on Sea Rim Striders' Facebook page and the link will be posted in the Turkey Trot Facebook event. ***please note:  SRS has no control over the final amount and content of photos taken.  Our photographers VOLUNTEER to help capture memories on a HOLIDAY race day.   If you'd like to volunteer to take photos on race day, we would LOVE to have you!!  Please message the race director at [email protected] to sign up to volunteer.   
Stations for photographers are:  start line, finish line, on-course, announcements/warmups, on-stage awards, and  misc. photos required by sponsors/SRS.    Kids K
Turkey will run with the Kids K participants!   COURSE: Course is through downtown Beaumont.

******as of 8/6/2024 at 1:16pm, the course may not be certified.  Due to a historic building fire, 2 blocks will be closed down temporarily, possibly affecting the course route.  We will aim to get a new course route created, and as close to official race distance, as possible!***

The 5K course is USATF Certified:   #TX18079LAB  The 10K course is USATF Certified: #TX18080LAB

There will not be Course Records awarded this year if the course route is altered.

                                   

PACKET PICKUP The Event Centre, 700 Crockett St., Beaumont, Texas 77701 Wednesday, November 27 from 12pm – 6pm *Mini sponsor-expo at packet/shirt/bib pickup.  Please stop by and thank them for supporting your hometown Turkey Trot!   RACE DAY PLEASE COME PICK UP YOUR PACKETS ON WEDNESDAY 11/27 PACKET PICKUP DAY TO AVOID DELAYS ON RACE MORNING!  Race Morning packet pickup will be available 6am-7am.  Announcements start promptly at 7.  
Packet pickup volunteers need to get ready for their run/walk and attend announcements.   SHIRT/MERCHANDISE SALES:
