Lebanon Strawberry Century

In the early 1990s, Lebanon's Santiam Spokes Bicycle Club coordinated the first ever Strawberry Century supported bicycle ride in the lush Willamette Valley.

Well known for it's scenic, low-traveled rural backroads; family-friendly atmosphere;  kind, hospitable volunteer, support; and the namesake finish line shortcake dessert, it makes sense that so many cyclists across the Pacific Northwest call this their favorite supported summer cycling event.

In response to the recent announcement that the Santiam Spokes doesn't have the capacity to coordinate the event in 2024- four Lebanon locals, all of whom tackled their first 100 mile ride at the iconic Strawberry Century over the last decade, decided their fond memories of the event were just as valuable as everyone else's, and that those memories deserve to keep riding on.
