Hopkins Freedom 5K

Event Summary: Hopkins Athletics Hall of Fame presents: 
Hopkins Freedom Fun Run

This is a family friendly event.  This year, we are moving the start and finish of the race behind the Hopkins Fire Barn  The course will be similar to last year's course and will include a lap around the track during the race.  This event will NOT officially be timed this year, but we will have a clock going so finishers can see their times. There will be one aid station with water about half way through the course.  Awards will be given in the form of a drawing and you must be present to win.  Awards will be presented behind the fire barn near the start/finish when all runners/walkers have finished.  Refuel at the pancake breakfast at the fire barn from 8-10 presented by the Hopkins Village Council (additional donation).

7:30 AM Fun Run/ Walk Start
*We ask that walkers try to line up behind the runners at the starting line.

REGISTRATION:

$25.00 (on or before June 10, 2022)
(Includes a commemorative T-shirt)

$30.00 After June 10 - Race Day (we can NOT guarantee a T-shirt)

For the safety of our runners, NO bicycles, in-line skates, wagons, or animals are allowed on the course! Physically challenged competitors will be permitted exception to above conditions provided they advise race officials at registration.  Baby strollers and joggers are permitted.

TO BENEFIT:

Net Proceeds from the race will benefit the Hopkins Athletics Hall of Fame
Additional donations may be made on race day.

Parking is available in the lot by the soccer field across from the middle school, or behind the middle school. 

AWARDS:

Participants will be entered into a drawing that will take place behind the fire barn near the start/finish of the race when all participants have finished.  Must be present to win.

Walkers are encouraged to participate for fun, and support of the Hopkins Athletics Hall of Fame.
