We are extremely excited to be hosting the 3rd Annual Goliath Gravel Grinder! We continue to make event updates based on previous riders' feedback. Feedback from last year added to this year's event: staggered race starts to create more of a finish line buzz, better sound system, and post-ride bike wash!We will continue to have three distances (25k/50k/100k) to challenge all level of riders, plus post-race food & activities. World Class ExperienceWhat happens when world-class beer and a world-class gravel ride experience come together? Our routes are “geared” for every rider - from newbie to seasoned racer.Goliath Gravel GrinderThe Goliath Gravel Grinder is a gravel ride adventure of 25k, 50K, or 100K showcasing the scenic bluffs and natural beauty of the Decorah area. Our event is 98% on gravel roads. GPS route maps are not accurate with surface descriptions. Deadline will be Thursday, September 25, at 5 p.m.PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, September 26, from 4-7 p.m or Saturday, September 27, from 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m.CUT-OFF: Registered 100K riders who have not reached Sattre Store (22 MILE MARK) by 10:30 a.m. will be re-directed to the 50K course for the duration of the ride. This is for the safety/accountability of all riders. 25K will have no cut-off time. No refund of the additional $10 paid for the 100K.Prizes will be distributed for top riders in each event.MUSICWe will have live music on our patio for riders, family, and friends to enjoy!
