À propos de l'événement
As we gear up for a fantastic summer of all things mountain biking at Hale, we will host a cross country mountain bike race to celebrate the end of mud season! If you’ve considered racing or have a child interested in it, this course is the perfect venue to give it a go.
The Final de Barro is at Hale Education in Westwood, MA on Sunday May 5, 2024. Designed as an XC Olympic (XCO) format race, the 4-mile course features the best trails Hale offers. Racers of all ages are welcome—in fact, bring the entire family, because the course is extremely spectator friendly. Proceeds from this race benefit Hale’s youth programs.
The course will open for registrants to pre-ride before the first heat rolls out. Participants will have until 30 min before their race to check in, warm up, and explore the route. Please pick up your timing plates at registration. Race plates will have timing chips on them. We ask that you not be in or around the timing area or race start/finish mat unless you are actively racing. Make it a friendly family competition—who has the fastest lap, the kids or the adults? Fun and games in the spectator area will keep everyone entertained.
Come enjoy a spring Sunday morning at Hale and explore everything it has to offer. The race route will be announced in the coming weeks.
Hale believes nature, education, and recreation inspire us to learn, empower us to lead, and challenge us all to create a world in which people, place, and purpose are united.
