Be a champion of the transformative power of education at The Excel Center Evansville Southeast. This free adult high school is the first of it's kind in Evansville and offers a second chance for adults to earn an Indiana Core 40 high school diploma, but it doesn't stop there! Excel Center students have access to supportive services including on-site drop-in childcare, transportation assistance, industry-recognized certifications, and more....all at no cost to the students!

This year’s event supports Evansville Goodwill’s The Excel Center®, a free adult high school, that will offer a Core 40 high school diploma. The program will impact more than 14,000 individuals in Vanderburgh County who lack a high school diploma and work to break the cycle of poverty. Set to open in August of 2024 at the former Sear’s building in the Washington Square Mall, the program will offer drop-in childcare for students, transportation assistance, industry-recognized
certifications, and/or college credits all at no cost.

Our future home at The Washington Square Mall will also host the Evansville Goodwill Opportunity Center which aims to increase accessibility to essential resources such as healthcare and housing assistance, job training, expungement services, digital skills training, and more. The center will serve as a one-stop shop, hosting different organizations across the community in one location.
