Racing to the Rescue 5K Run/Walk
Sunday, October 8, 2023 Kids Fun Run Starts at 8:15am and 5K Starts at 8:30 am Sharp (Rain or Shine) On October 8th we'll be working with our friend/club member Joslyn Walsh and the Akindale Thoroughbred Horse Rescue to put on the Racing to the Rescue 5K Run/Walk.
Joslyn is a senior at Pawling High School and she is organizing this event to earn her Girl Scout Gold Award. She is passionate about horses and running, so she created this race as a sustainable fundraiser to make a significant impact for Akindale Thoroughbred Horse Rescue and her local community. Please come out to support her in her efforts to help the horses! Course is dirt road, grass fields and road. All Proceeds will be used to purchase supplies for the horses of the Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue in Pawling. Registration Fee 5K Run/Walk Pre-registration Fee $25.00 Guaranteed Finisher Medal (Cut-off 10/1/23) 5K Run/Walk Registration Day Of Race Fee: $30.00 No Finisher Medal Free Kids Fun Run (10 & under) Sign up race day. Race Packets will be available at 7:30 am on Race Day DISCOUNTED PRICES FOR CLUB MEMBERS.
