Come out and join Michigan Trail Experience for the Deer Fly 5. This 5K run will take place at Lake Lansing North. This will be a great race for new trail runners and hikers. It is a flat well marked course. All entries will receive a T-Shirt, sticker, and finisher patch. A park pass is required to enter. Look forward to seeing you. This is a pet friendly event. Start Time: 9 AM
Entry Fee: $30 until Aug 8th guaranteed T-shirt. $35 from Aug 8th to Aug 11th limited T-shirts.
Entry Fee 18 and under: $20 until Aug 8th $25 from Aug 8th to Aug 18th.
Packet Pickup: Race morning at the Sand Hill Shelter starting at 7:30 am
Race Swag!: All entries will receive a Deer Fly 5 T-shirt, a sticker, and Finisher patch.
Results: Your results will be chip timed with live results
Awards: Overall male and female finisher will receive a $25 gift certificate from Playmakers. First place in each age group will be given a $10 gift certificate from Playmakers. Age groups for women and men are the following: 15 and under, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be available live during the race.
