Eastbourne Marathon

The Eastbourne Marathon is a coastal classic set within the TriBourne Festival of Endurance, a celebration of stamina and seaside racing. This certified 42.2 km course follows four laps of 10.55 km along Eastbourne’s scenic lower promenade, stretching from Holywell to the far eastern prom. The course is flat and fast, ideal for runners chasing a ‘good for age’ qualification or aiming for a confident marathon debut. Starting at Western Lawns, the midday kickoff draws both competitive and recreational runners to a supportive, festival-style atmosphere on the South Coast. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as veteran podiums for the 40+ category.
