Cobb County PARKS and MTB Atlanta invite you to the 10th Annual Voodoo/ALL-a-Toona Mountain Bike Race at Allatoona Creek Park, Georgia's largest purpose-built mountain bike trail system! This challenging, single-lap race uses nearly every trail, with a “half” version available for those not quite ready to tackle the whole thing. As always, this is an all-volunteer effort with 100% of the proceeds being used to build and maintain the park’s trails.
PrizesCool swag prizes donated by great sponsors are provided to the top finishers in each category. Of course, what everyone is racing for are the King and Queen crowns graciously provided by renown artist Ed Baltes.
ROUTESThe 2025 race routes are still in development. The 2024 routes can be found below.
2024 ALL-a-Toona/2024 HALF-a-Toona
Trails may be added, removed, or modified up until the last minute based on conditions, so the exact race lengths are not known until we get a finisher, but we anticipate them being roughly 40 and 20 miles long. The trails are generally fast and relatively flat, but Red Barron, Voodoo, Hocus Pocus and Fern Gully offer more challenging sections. Participants are strongly encouraged to pre-ride the trails and to race within their limits – dismounting when necessary. The park’s most accurate trail maps and information can be found on the Trailforks Allatoona Creek Park Web Site.
MORE INFOThe race will be run rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe by the Land Manager. Normally the park’s trails are closed when wet. Please confirm trail open/close status at mtbatlanta.com before heading over to pre-ride.
To accommodate the growing participant interest while maintaining racer safety, the ALL-a-Toona and HALF-Toona races have separate start times. The ALL-a-Toona will begin promptly at 8:00 am, with the HALF-Toona starting a few minutes later.
ON-SITE CAMPING OPTIONCamping is allowed on-site Thursday and Friday nights before the race. For a small donation, you’ll be able to set up beginning Thursday afternoon, pre-ride a few trails, and relax. Space is limited. Locking in your camp site is part of the race registration process. First come, first served.
COST/DEADLINESTotal event participation (meaning the number of racers in both races combined) will be capped at 300 registrants. Do not wait until the last minute to sign up. Last year's event sold out and a number of procrastinators were left out.
Using a special code they will receive via email, MTB Atlanta Members can register first for only $55.00 (plus fees) until January 31, 2025. General public early registration opens February 1, 2025 and is $65.00 (plus fees) before midnight on May 18th, 2025. After that the cost increases to $75.00 (plus fees.) The last date/time to register is 11:59 pm, Wednesday, June 18th, 2025. There will be no day-of registration. To guarantee your size in a race shirt, you must register by 11:59 pm, Sunday, June 8th, 2025.
We realize this is a small increase from previous years (it's costing more to put on the event), but its still a great deal and every penny we raise from this race will be used to build and maintain the trails at Allatoona Creek Park.
NOT RACING BUT WANT TO HELP?Putting on a race like this isn’t easy, and we can use all the volunteers we can get! Plenty to do on race-day of course, but we also need help with marketing, staging and registration. Please contact Race Director Josh Camp or Volunteer Coordinator Chris Sharpe if you can help.
