From 2025, the marathon route will become a “one-lap course” to Alpnachstad. The start and finish are at the Swiss Museum of Transport. Run past traditional luxury hotels and the Hofkirche church View of the Kappel Bridge and water tower Impressive mountain panorama of Central Switzerland Route along Lake Lucerne and around the Horw peninsula Wonderful view towards Obwalden along the shore of Lake Alpnach Horw atmosphere zone Run through the modern football stadium of FC Lucerne Run through the Lucerne Culture and Convention Center (KKL) Picturesque old town of Lucerne Finish at the Swiss Museum of Transport

Absolutely amazing, such a well organised event from start to finish. The set up was just incredible, never saw one queue for the portaloos even though 11k running, plenty of food and drink stations. Amazing scenic route, great crowd and great entertainment along the route (the music stations) absolutely loved it!
Perfectly organized marathon with excellent quality gadgets and t-shirts
The lakeside path is so beautiful and picturesque that at times you felt like stopping to take a picture. Great idea to include the half marathon on the second lap so it pushes you to go faster in the most difficult part of the marathon.
Very pretty route taking you through the city and surrounding lake. Well organised and very friendly crowd. Super positive experience
21km of beautiful landscape
Great half marathon, organization is so good, the people was so happy and they cheered all over the route, I saw a deer and of course cows. It was great experience the finish line is prefect, red carpet is amazing. The rout it self has 3 hills before 10km, but after it is very good.
Tolle Route, perfekt organisiert (5 Sterne!)

2 interessante Laufrunden (Route: 2 x 21,1 KM) mit Schweizer Landschaftspanorama und einigen wenigen Wellen (Höhenmeter ca. 390) !
Fantastic weather lake and mountains view , beautiful location and surroundings , cheerful crowded and very well organised
Was harder than expected , were two slow uphills before 10 km that became a challenge
