What an amazing experience! It was superbly organised and the scenery was spectacular! The police were cooperative and the staff were helpful and cheerful. I had never done anything like this in the past and I am so grateful I accompanied my son on this journey; we shall cherish the memory for eternity.
38 K… A lot more challenging and difficult than what I had anticipated but it was worthwhile. I loved the orchards and the scenery! An exceptional experience !
This is a wonderful area of the world and running there is as good as you would hope. The race was very well organised indeed, and we stayed in the area for a few days - absolutely worth it.
My only complaint… I did the 38.6k run which was my first almost-marathon, only to receive a medal that say “Short distance”?? What?? That’s not the way to encourage hopeful ultra runners!!
Other than that a definite five-six-seven stars!!
The route was really easy with wide paths and no climbing, clearly aimed at “just about anybody” (and a lot of it was in the shade which was good). You still got some great views towards the end but mostly in was lower down - though still beautiful

Last year I ran 34K and this year I decided to take on the 63K. It was very challenging but throughout the race, you were surrounded by stunning views! Cappadocia is a magical place and if you are looking for an incredible experience I highly recommend the 63K Salomon Cappadocia Ultra- Trail race!
I have been to Cappadocia many times, but this was my first a race here. It was absolutely incredible! The event was well organized, the trails were well marked, there were people cheering wherever possible, and the views were amazing! I ran the 30k+ but intend to run the 60K+ this year. I highly recommend this race for those wishing to take on a new challenging in their running journey.
