The Fighting Fentanyl 5k is held in honor of our dear friend Elizabeth Freeling and others who have lost their lives to fentanyl as well as their families and loved ones who have been impacted by their loss. This event is an opportunity to build relationships and support within our community as well as spread awareness to educate our neighbors about the dangers of fentanyl. After struggling with addiction, one of the most important parts of recovery is having a supporting and structured environment while transitioning back into the community as a better individual. Beauty for Ashes Ministries is a transitional home for women that aides them in building a productive and fulfilling life in recovery. Proceeds from this race will go to the efforts of BFA Ministries.
