Marathon results Fabian Kuert (2:26:18.1) finished ahead of a field of more than 1,400 runners to win the Swiss City Marathon along Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. The only other runner to clear two and a half hours was Stephan Wenk (2:29:09.3). Heinz Bodenmann took third with a time of 2:32:10.7. For the women, it was Conny Berchtold (2:45:20.0) coming in first. Susanne Ruegger secured second with a time of 2:47:31.0.
