Scouting America Half Marathon, 10k & Tenderfoot 5K

The Scouting America event occurs at the Wood County Fairgrounds, offering participants various running challenges. The scenic route features a diverse urban landscape, including industrial areas, downtown paths, wooded bike trails, a golf course neighborhood, and City Park. Along the course, uniformed area scout troops provide water and show appreciation to participants. After the race, Southeastern Container sponsors a refreshment zone with chocolate milk, fresh fruit, and more. To conclude the festivities, Scout Troops host a complimentary pancake breakfast for all registered participants, enhancing the community experience with nourishment and camaraderie.
