Half Marathon results
Over 1,000 runners completed the 6th Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon in and around Lafayette, Oregon, but none faster than Greg Mitchell (1:10:52).
Runner-up Paul Balmer made his way through the vineyards and orchards of Willamette Valley in 1:12:57.
Brian Gillis rounded out the top three with a time of 1:14:09.
For the women, it was Lyndy Davis cutting almost three minutes from her third-place finish a year ago, to take the top spot with a time of 1:19:17.
Theresa Hailey (1:20:06) finished second, less than a minute off the mark to beat.
Former winner (2011) and course-record holder (1:18:44), Carre Heineck came in third for the second time in three years with a time of 1:22:13.
She was one of four women to finish within 36 seconds of each other.
