Tommy Manning made it through the mountains ahead of more than 200 runners to win the La Sportiva Vail Half Marathon in Vail, Colorado.
Part of the La Sportiva Trail Running Race Series, Manning finished the trail run in 1:46:01.
Despite turning in a slower time, David Glennon improved on his fourth-place finish from a year ago, coming in second with a time of 1:49:15.
He was the only other runner to clear an hour and 50 minutes.
Third-place finisher Ian Huang just missed the mark, coming in at 1:50:55.
For the women, it was Kim Dobson finishing first by nearly four minutes with a time of 1:58:28.
Last year’s winner Anne Nevin, finished almost eight minutes slower than a year ago, but still managed to make the podium as the runner-up with a time of 2:02:36.
Michelle Hiland rounded out the top three, finishing in 2:05:13.
