Urban Bourbon Half Marathon

The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile experiential destination event that celebrates and promotes 200 years of Louisville and Kentucky distilling history, It starts and finishes in downtown Louisville and winds through the fall foliage of one of Louisville’s most scenic parks, Cherokee Park.  

Participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt and unique bourbon-themed medal, as well as entry into the post-race Urban Bourbon Bash, which was heralded by Runners’ World magazine as one of the best half marathon after-parties in the country. In the Urban Bourbon Bash, all registrants will receive bourbon samples, beer, and hot food including Kentucky burgoo. Walkers may participate but must be able to keep an 18:00 minute per mile pace as the course will close at 12 p.m.

Since our Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is meant for those age 21 or older, includes bourbon and bourbon-themed medals, you must be 21 or older on Oct. 14, 2023, to register. Online registration will close at 11:59 pm on Oct. 12, 2023.
