The Big Run - Reading

Note- The Big Run 5K has been postponed from Wednesday, June 7th till Tuesday, June 13th at 6:30pm due to the health risks of the poor a quality that we are experiencing.

Celebrate Global Running Day with us! All participants will receive a Big Run medal for your effort. A raffle will be held to win a top and bottom from Brooks Running and a $100 gift card from Fleet Feet West Reading. 

The inaugural Global Running Day was held on June 1, 2016. On that day over 2.5 million runners from 177 different countries took part, running an estimated 9.2 million miles between them. We get out of breath just thinking about all that running.

This Global Running Day Fleet Feet West Reading and Brooks Running will mark the occasion with an event to celebrate all of you -- our amazing running and walking community. We invite you to join us on Wednesday, June 7 to log some midweek miles. Set a goal, cross that finish line and celebrate Global Running Day with your friends, family and the Fleet Feet West Reading community. Pretzel City Sports will be the official timers of this race and awards will be given to those in the top 3 of their age group.

The day aims to get everyone moving and be more active and champions not just the physical health benefits of running but also the mental health benefits it can have too, such as reduced anxiety. At Fleet Feet we believe that RUNNING CHANGES EVERYTHING™
