UC Davis Flatlands

At first glance, the UC Davis Airport Circuit Race appears to be a simple course. The 3.8 loop is completely flat with no technical sections. However, looks can be deceiving because the real battle won’t be with the course… it will be with the wind. Depending on the day, the wind speeds can average 10 to 20 mph in any direction. Be prepared to get guttered.

On this 3.8-mile course, riders will complete clockwise loops. Staging will be at registration, at the intersection of Campbell and Garrod. 

Center line rule in effect. There is no center line on Brooks, Levee, or Hopkins Road. However, there may be vehicles on course so stay to the right.

REGISTRATION: 

Online registration via Bikereg - https://www.bikereg.com/ucdflatlands24 Registration opens at 8:30am and closes 15 minutes before each event’s start time.All riders must have a USAC license to be eligible to compete.

ENTRY FEES: $45 Collegiate, $50 Domestic. NO COLLEGIATE TEAM PAY. PLEASE PAY ONLINE THROUGH BIKEREG OR IN PERSON AT REG ($10 SURCHARGE FOR DAY-OF)
 

AIRPORT CIRCUIT RACE

All riders will complete a specified number of laps around the circuit course. Expect to see a variety of farm animals, vegetation, and the University Airport along the course. The course is flat but be aware of potholes throughout.

EMS will be available onsite Water will not be available at the course Portable bathrooms will be available on the course All USAC and WCCC rules apply Helmets required for all races Follow all campus and city street laws while warming up. 
UC Davis Cycling is not responsible if you violate traffic laws. Nearest parking is all along Garrod Drive. It is free on the weekends.No illegal parking, no public urination, and no littering. If you violate any of these rules, then you jeopardize your eligibility to race and further legal action may be taken.Event will be held rain or shine.
