The 10th annual Dancing Bear Bicycle Bash returns on September 21st, 2024 in beautiful Townsend TN at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains! All riders from the area and from around the country are warmly invited to visit the Peaceful Side of the Smokies in Townsend. We always limit this ride to 250 riders or less. This event will sell out --so don't delay ! Limited overnight accommodations are available where the rides begin and end @ DancingBearLodge.com. Other local lodging options are available as well and are listed below.
The Dancing Bear 2024 Bike Bash features 3 great recreational rides. OLD WALLAND HIGHWAY (aka the RIVER ROAD) is NEWLY PAVED for this year ! We will similar options of 28, 40, and 55 miles to last year with only minor tweaks. And our Fire Engine led start through the Curves---will go faster this year--promise! Our famous post-ride outdoor gourmet lunch by Executive Chef Jeff Carter returns --which adds a totally unique signature aspect to this event! Complimentary beer from Peaceful Side Brewery and a cool sway bag rounds out your registration fee.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodations are available through Dancing Bear Lodge, and feature Rustic Cabins with hot tubs and fireplace, (some with kitchens, all with refrigerators.) Other recommended lodging options are the Highland Manor Inn, Tally Ho Inn, and Dogwood Cabins!
