Tri the Parks - Richard B Russell Intermediate

Athletes from around the world are invited to participate in an exciting intermediate distance event that includes options for triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike races. The race will take place at a beautiful park with a limited field of 500 participants. Athletes must check in at the park early in the morning and will be assigned to designated bike racks based on their race number. All participants will be marked with race numbers and ages, and must wear swim caps provided in their race packets.The event will kick off with the swim portion, followed by a scenic bike course along smooth, paved county roads, and ending with a flat and fast run course. The course will be marked with directional signs and mile markers, but athletes are responsible for knowing the course. Sheriff personnel will be present at intersections to ensure safety.

For those interested in the duathlon or aquabike, there are options available that follow similar courses as the triathlon. Participants in the aquabike race will receive a green wristband in their packets to wear during the event.

Parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, with volunteer attendants directing participants to spaces close to the transition area.
