Cool temperatures and overcast skies ushered in the return of major road racing in Thailand. The race was a celebration of achieving World Athletics Bronze Label status and bringing runners back to the streets of the Bangsaen, a Thai beach resort town in Chonburi Province. The fourth edition of the race was won by Sanchai Namkhet and Linda Janthachit of Thailand, both have represented Thailand in international competition.
With 8287 finishes, Bangsaen continues to lead the way in quality events in the region. On December 20, 2020 Bangsaen will play host again to Thailand’s only Gold Label event, the fast Bangsaen 21K, where Sisay Lemma finished in 1.02.16, the fastest time ever on Thai soil in 2019
