Santa Fe International Half Marathon

We invite you to join us at the 2023 Santa Fe International Half Marathon, 5K, and 1 Mile Races on Sunday, Sept 17th.  This year, we are dedicating the 5K Run/Walk to Doug McTernan, a beloved local coach, and accomplished runner, in memory of his dedication, mentorship, and passion for the sport. In 2018, Coach Doug moved to New Mexico and started The Jamii Running Project, a non-profit running club.   He wanted to contribute to his new community by encouraging people of all abilities, ages, and cultures to run for the love of it and also provide coaching for members interested in road race competitions. Coach Doug created 2 summer camps to help kids between the ages of 8-15 improve their running and fitness skills and understand the importance of good nutrition.
