Marathon COMAR de Tunis Carthage

Since its inception in 1986, the COMAR Marathon of the city of Tunis has become an eagerly anticipated annual sporting event that attracts more than 2500 athletes, amateur and professional, Tunisian and foreign. The event comprises three races: the Marathon, the Half Marathon and the Race for All.In order to enhance the Marathon, we have focused on four main objectives: to become one of the major sporting events in Tunisia (Tunisian Championship for the 42.195 km) while opening up to the countries of the Maghreb, Europe and beyond; to draw more and more foreign participants, thus contributing to the promotion of our country's tourism; to promote sports for all as a lifestyle in order to combat the dangers of sedentary living and protect our health; and to become increasingly international, making the Marathon more closely associated with the city of Tunis and thus earning its name of COMAR Marathon of the city of Tunis - a great honor for us!
