Marathon results
Amos Desjardins (2:56:32) outpaced roughly 130 runners along the oceanfront to win the Marathon Bahamas in Nassau.
Adrien Sarasso secured second with a time of 3:00:54.
Last year’s winner Justin Gillette (3:04:28) rounded out the top three.

For the women, it was Sarah Dohan (3:41:39) coming in comfortably ahead of the field.
Runner-up Kim Conway finished with a time of 3:49:46.
Alison Thurber (3:51:10) took third among females and 10th overall.

Half Marathon results
Jonathan Volpi (1:15:03) outran more than 400 runners to win the Half Marathon Bahamas.
Last year’s winner Keithrell Hann (1:19:22) a returned to the podium in second.
Spencer Deleveaux finished a distant third with a time of 1:25:02.
For the women, it was Marina Peron (1:35:14) coming in just ahead of Anastasua Stitch (1:35:31) for first.
Peron and Stitch’s times were good for fifth and sixth overall.
Liza Truax took third with a time of 1:40:20.
