Furthermore, each and every participant can receive the event’s original T-shirt, which cannot be obtained elsewhere, as well as a radish that is a local specialty in Miura as a prize for participation.

Also, the Miura Kaigan Cherry Blossom Festival is held in the city of Miura from early February to early March every year. During this period, approximately 1,000 Kawazu cherry trees that line an about one-kilometer road extending from Miurakaigan Station on the Keikyu Line to Komatsugaike Park are in full bloom. Moreover, visitors can enjoy not only Kawazu cherry blossoms but also yellow field mustard flowers that bloom along the Keikyu Line tracks, adding color and flavor to the festival.

The Kanagawa Prefectural Government will provide detailed information on the Miura Kaigan Cherry Blossom Festival on another occasion.
