**Race Highlights**

- **Courses**: Test your speed on the grass-based Northwestern High School Cross Country Course, shared by both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run. The Fun Run now shares the same start and finish as the 5K, making it a seamless experience for all runners.

- **Competitive Edge**: All ages are welcome to tackle the chip-timed 5K race. Perform well to earn a spot on the leaderboard and see your results on RunSignUp.

- **1 Mile Fun Run**: Perfect for the younger runners (12 and under) who are not quite ready for the 5K. Parents can join for free, unless they opt for a race shirt.

- **Awards**: Push hard to be in the top 3 finishers for both males and females in the 5K and have your name on a prestigious plaque in the Athletic Office. Age group awards span various categories, and every young finisher in the Fun Run earns a medal.

- **Alumni Division**: Graduates of Northwestern can compete for top honors in the alumni division, with awards for the leading male and female finishers.
