Wine and Country Run

This is a true cross country run, beginning on paved roads but then transitioning to farm roads passing through fields of corn. The course has been upgraded from our inaugural year, starting and ending in front of the winery and laid out as a 5 mile loop. A kid's race will start at 8 a.m., with the open category beginning immediately following at 8:30 a.m. An awards ceremony and music will follow the race.

The race is hosted by Hampton Roads Winery, located in Surry County. Surry County is south of the James River across from Williamsburg / Jamestown, about 45 minutes east of Richmond, 1 hour west of Virginia Beach.
