UAI Ultra dos Anjos Internacional 235 km

In this fourth edition, in 2014, one of the toughest ultramarathons in Brazil will take place between June 20 and June 22, in 60 hours of pure emotion and unforgettable adventure, night and day, day and night. It was conceived like “our” Brazil 135, BR135. There will be three categories: 235 Hard (235km/146mi), 95 Medium (95km/59mi) and 65 Easy (65km/40mi). The race will be held around the Mantiqueira Mountains, including small towns like Passa Quatro (start/finish line), Aiuruoca, Caxambu, São Lourenço, in the south region of Minas Gerais State. With a stunning beauty, the route passes through the Estrada Real (Royal Road), a historical path where, during the 18th century, gold and diamond flowed toward Europe, between the green mountains of Minas Gerais State. Passa Quatro, the host city where the runners will start the race and reach the finish line, is located at a strategic point near the border of São Paulo State and Minas Gerais State. The race ULTRAMARATHON OF ANGELS INTERNATIONAL BRASIL has categories divided and involved in the race: runner solo with support (car and support team with pacer) and without support named survivor. Also, the race has teams divided in duos, trios and quartets only for the 235km route. A car for each team is needed in this case. The registration for the race category solo is US$ 1,000.00.
