Syracuse Mudtastic Classic

The Mudtastic Classic is a 2.25-mile (3.6 km) adventure course designed for fun, teamwork, and plenty of mud. Featuring more than 15 obstacles—ranging from climbing and crawling challenges to water and mud pits—the event is all about participation, not competition. Runners can choose to tackle obstacles or bypass them, making it accessible to all fitness levels. Both youth and adults can enter individually or as part of a team of up to 10. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes awarded to the best-dressed groups. Waves begin in the morning, ensuring a steady flow of muddy action, while spectators can cheer from dedicated viewing areas. A hose-off station near the finish line and post-race refreshments at the Ruddell Pavilion help cap off the experience.
