LocationDundas Dukes Ball Park, 214 1st Street, Dundas, MN 55019We’re excited to bring this event to the Dundas Dukes Ball Park, just a 3.5 mile bike ride to the heart of Northfield enabling all riders to enjoy the charming town and all the fun and excitement that DJJD has to offer after your ride. You’ll find restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, shopping, a distillery and 3 bike shops, all within proximity of the starting and ending point at Dundas Dukes Ball Park.
Parking will be in a parking lot and on the residential streets around the park. Please be a good neighbor and park your vehicle in a responsible manner. No overnight parking at the park.
The RoutesThe routes will be going west and east from our starting point in Dundas and will be complete with full service aid stations. The drafts of the routes will be posted soon!
Pricing Single Riders: $40Family Rate: $90 (max of 2 Adults, max of 5 riders)Youth, Single Rider: $30 (ages 6-18)Family Fun Ride: $40 (6 miles, starting time between 10:00 am-12:00 pm, max 2 adults)*Rivers, Lakes & Fields*Family Fun Ride: All riders in this category must participate only in the 6-mile Family Fun Ride. Register for the longer bike treks separately. This kid friendly adventure includes a bike rodeo, free custard stop at Culvers, Hall of the World (i.e. meeting Northfield’s 2023-24 Rotary Exchange Students), a free lunch and beverage voucher along with snack break stations along the route. Participants will receive a Rotary Passport that will get stickers at each stop - completed passports can be redeemed for prizes at the end of the tour at the ball park.
Rivers, Lakes & Fields (RLF)REGISTER and Ride the 3 Event Series: to get a complimentary gift at each event and be eligible for 3 $100 cash prizes.
Fundraiser BenefitsThe Northfield Rotary Club has organized and operated the Bike Tour as a fundraiser since 1995, 100% volunteer run. Net proceeds raised at this event support Rotary’s local and international service projects and furthers the mission of Rotary by funding projects that promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water and sanitation, and strengthen and sustain local economies.
Current Northfield Rotary projects include Youth Exchange, the Mill Town Bike Trail, Water projects in Tanzania and Guatemala and providing local organizations support such as CAC, Ruth's House, Hillcrest Village, The Key and many more.
