Merrimack Sparkler 5k Run/Walk

The Merrimack Sparkler Run/Walk is an annual event organized by the Merrimack Road Runners Booster Club, supporting Merrimack High and Middle School's track and cross country programs. This event is a major fundraiser, aiding in expenses like equipment, travel, and providing scholarships to graduating seniors. Proceeds depend largely on community support, fostering local student-athletes' development in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track. The run begins and ends on the Merrimack High School track. The Booster Club awards scholarships and supports coaching and clothing stipends. The event also includes a free Kids Fun Run and offers t-shirts to early registrants.
