Gate River Run

The Gate River Run is the premier 15K road race in the United States and has hosted the USATF 15K Championships almost every year since 1994. Held annually in Jacksonville, Florida, the race draws over 15,000 finishers and a deep professional field. The course spans two major bridges over the St. Johns River, with the final climb—known as the “Hart Bridge Green Monster”—offering a strategic challenge in the closing miles. With its mix of elite competition, strong community turnout, and live music along the course, the Gate River Run is both a national-caliber race and a defining event for the region.
