About the event
The "Champs Dash 5K" invites participants to run, jog, or walk along the scenic Silver Comet Trail in Downtown Rockmart, GA. The event supports the Polk County Sheriff's Office C.H.A.M.P.S. Program, which provides drug and safety education in local elementary schools. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as for various age categories. The race starts and finishes in Downtown Rockmart, with refreshments provided post-race. The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
