The Broken Sword Triathlon in Clarksville, AR, is an exciting event for athletes looking to tackle a Sprint distance in the stunning Ozark Mountain foothills. **Sprint Triathlon (Individual and Relay Team options)**
- **Swim Course**: A 500-meter open water swim at Lake Ludwig, marked with buoys, starting at the beach and finishing at the boat ramp.
- **Transition 1**: Located in the parking lot at the boat ramp exit.
- **Bike Course**: A 15-mile ride on paved roads with views of the Ozark Mountains, featuring fast downhills, a passage through downtown and the University of the Ozarks campus, and finishing with a flat section back into downtown.
- **Transition 2**: Situated in a downtown parking lot with quick access to the run.
- **Run Course**: A 5K on the Spadra Creek Nature Trail with a flat paved path, finishing downtown with excellent spectator viewing and a lively finish-line celebration.
**Parking and Transportation:**
Participants can park at Lake Ludwig by the Swim Beach Start/T1 area. A shuttle bus will operate between the Finish Line/T2 area downtown and the Start/T1 area at Lake Ludwig for participant and spectator convenience every 20-30 minutes.
**Packet Pickup:**
Available at Clarksville City Hall before race day and also on race day morning at the finish line area downtown. Note that all packets must be collected one hour before the race starts.
Race entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The event will proceed rain or shine, and the race management may cancel or modify the event for safety reasons, with no refunds provided for entry fees.
